ABOUT FLANEGAN B.

Flanegan Bainon, born and raised Malaysian Borneo. A very mysterious island shaped his curiosity and inconventional way of thinking. He started out as a Graphic Designer before he further his studies in Photography at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University, Australia. He discovered his passion in Documentary Photography.

Flanegan began his career as Press/Docomentary photographer, working with a local online press for 1 and a half years. To seek new challenges he moved to Tokyo, Japan where he began to assist for Hiraga Masaaki for a few months and ended up become assistant and junior photographer for d'ArC Model and Factory Management. He was given freedom to do his freelancing work also at the same time. This has change his aesthetic and inspired his shift towards Portraiture Photography.
